WordPress 4.0 is just around the corner and to prepare for it, the HW Image Widget has been upgraded to support it. It also sports a few bug fixes and overall improvements.
By default, WordPress will use the email@example.com e-mail address and “WordPress” as e-mail sender information for e-mails such as “user created”, “password reminders” and more. This is fairly anonymous and is probably not the sender for your e-mails that you want. It might even be the cause for e-mails “getting lost” or ending up in the spam folder.
The WordPress plugin HW Image Widget 2.6 has been released into the wild. Its a small update that adds the “title”-attribute to the IMG-tag in the default template file. This causes most browsers to show the “title”-attribute value as a tooltip when hovering over it with a mouse.
Thanks to Steven Walker for the suggestion!
